It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted to be part of their team, that I too could help, care for our women by being attentive to their needs. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of our participants who have not had it easy and who at times remind me of my sisters, my mother, my grandmothers.
My encounter with La rue des Femmes was simply magical! I was strongly attracted by its unique approach of welcoming women empathetically, compassionately and kindly. It fit perfectly with my vision of connecting with extremely vulnerable women I order to help
them. To heal them.
