BY VOLUNTEERING, YOU CAN MAKE TANGIBLE IMPROVEMENTS TO OUR PARTICIPANTS’ DAY-TO-DAY LIVES
When you volunteer at La rue des Femmes, as an individual or as a group, you enable us to fulfill our mission by helping us meet our regular or occasional human resource needs.
Please note: We cannot accept volunteers under 18 years of age, except to carry-out administrative tasks.
INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERING
- URGENT: volunteer for transportation!
We quickly need someone with a van (no back seat) to pick up food at Moisson Montreal. Contact : dons.materiels@laruedesfemmes.org
- Second-hand clothing and laundry
Classify and store the donated clothes and accessories.
- Transportation
Ensure that material gifts are collected and delivered.
- Gardening
Participate in preparing and maintaining the interior courtyards of our three houses.
- Sewing
Mend bed linens, curtains, etc.
